What gets labeled as laziness, defiance, or low motivation can turn out to have a more specific explanation, one that has a name, a path forward, and support that actually fits.

At Riverbed Psychology, neurodevelopmental evaluations start with your story. We take time to understand how you or your child moves through school, work, and relationships, then select the measures most relevant to your situation. Because conditions like ADHD, autism, and learning differences frequently overlap with anxiety, mood, and trauma, the evaluation is designed to sort through that complexity rather than land on the first explanation that fits. Results are shared in a written report delivered within two weeks, followed by a conversation to walk through findings and next steps together.
