Emotional and Mental Health Assessments
Cutting through uncertainty to understand what lies beneath the surface
Sometimes therapy stalls, medications do not work as expected, or a past diagnosis seems out of place or unclear. Psychological evaluations cut through uncertainty by exploring emotional patterns, personality, and how thinking and behavior interact. The goal is not simply to arrive at a diagnosis but to understand what is actually going on beneath the surface, in enough depth to make treatment more focused and more effective.
At Riverbed Psychology, emotional and mental health evaluations are tailored to your specific situation. Testing is selected based on your history and referral questions rather than a fixed protocol. Because emotional difficulties often overlap with attention, memory, and daily functioning, those areas are assessed as part of the same picture. Results are shared in a written report delivered within two weeks, followed by a conversation to walk through findings and next steps together. With your permission, reports can be shared directly with your treatment team.
